Seder Dinner

The Seder Dinner is a participation in the ancient Passover Meal that has been celebrated throughout the world for thousands of years. Originally, God commanded the Israelite people to share in this meal each year to remember the great saving event of the Old Testament- the exodus from Egypt. Jesus celebrated this meal with his disciples at what we call the Last Supper where he instead commanded them to share in the bread and wine in remembrance of the greatest saving event of all- his death and resurrection. Our celebration of the Seder Dinner is a participatory event in which we remember the great story of God redeeming people throughout the ages. It truly is living history and a glimpse of what the future holds. It will be a very powerful evening. We will finish the evening by sharing a potluck meal.
