Families are a significant focus of Redeemer Anglican Church. Our goal is to create a safe environment where children are not simply entertained but are nurtured as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Children in a church plant setting get to see their parents' faith in action. We may not have bouncy castles with a laser show during children's church, but what our children experience is much deeper. Just like their parents, they get to be a part of something significant and add their gifts to the work of the church. In doing so, we hope they develop a faith that is less consumer-focused and more expectant of God's action in the church.
At Redeemer, we provide nursery care for children ages 0-3. Parents can check their child in before the service by speaking with a Nursery Team Member. Parents may take their children to the nursery following the Gospel reading, and they can be picked back up during the Passing of the Peace.
We encourage parents to keep their children with them in the worship service at all other times. Children (and their noises) are a central part of our church family. We want them to be formed and shaped as a full part of their worshipping community.
